Speaking about various aspects of leadership, Jonathan further expressed gratitude for the opportunity to speak at the same Howard University where Nigeria’s first president, Nnamdi Azikiwe, studied.
The ex-president described Africa as the “bright continent”, stressing that stability and good governance are key factors for peace and development on the continent.

Naij.com had reported that the st heavy security as the Magistrates Court resumed hearing on the matter.
The State Security Service (SSS) asked that the case be taken to a higher court for hearing, but one of the defending counsels, V. E Obeta told the court that the team of the defendant has been aligned and all discord settled.
He noted that he and his team are appearing on the orders of the defendant.
The matter was adjourned to December 1, 2015 by the Chief Magistrate Shuaibu Usman, for ruling on the application to discontinue the case.

Father Mbaka Should Be Called To Order – Bishop

Rev Father Ejike Mbaka, the catholic priest from Enugu state, has been strongly criticized for his statement, in which he said that only if “their sponsors take the lead in any protest”.
Rev Father Ejike Mbaka
The Sun reports that Rt. Rev. Bishop Abraham Chris Udeh, the general overseer of Mount Zion Faith Global Liberation Ministries in Nnewi, Anambra state, has called on Catholic Bishops to call the fiery priest to order.
Udeh alleged that some enemies of the Igbos sponsored Father Mbaka to work against his Igbo brothers. He also claimed that the catholic priest allegedly worked against Goodluck Jonathan during the 2015 general elections leading to his loss.
“It appears you people (the media) are afraid to tell Mbaka the truth. Why should he be working against Igbo interest and everybody will keep quiet. Even the Catholic Bishops do not want to call him to order. He is not talking prophetically. Is the Buhari he projected to succeed Jonathan working for the interest of Ndigbo? Can’t we reason? That is the question we should ask ourselves,” the bishop said.
According to Udeh, some Igbo leaders keep quiet over the arrest and detention of Nnamdi Kanu, the director of Radio Biafra “because they are contented with their political positions and the crumbs from the table in Abuja.”
A week ago, during a sermon at Adoration Ministry, defining them as ‘evil’. He called on  youths in the south-east and south-south to go back to their business as pro-Biafra protests could lead to their deaths.

Okorocha Speaks Out On Audu’s Death

Controversies trail the death of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate Abubakar Audu.
Some sources suggest that Audu was actually poisoned. He was rushed to the hospital and constantly vomiting blood which he then passed out and died.
Reports going around now are that Bola Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos state and APC national leader has a hand in his death.
It is reported that Audu’s poisoning was pre-planned in order to impose Tinubu’s boy James Abiodun Faleke from Okun-Yoruba – Abubakar Audu’s running mate – on Kogi.
Though from Kogi, Faleke was a member of the House of Representatives, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Lagos.
Some are citing the 1999 situation where Obasanjo picked Atiku Abubakar as his VP after Atiku won the Adamawa polls. While Atiku was yet to be inaugurated, his running mate Boni Haruna climbed into the governor seat.
The allegation was made by Rochas Okorocha, special adviser on inter-party affairs to former president Olusegun Obasanjo and Governor of Imo State. He has reportedly claimed that the national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is among others who killed the Kogi state governorship candidate.
However, special assistant to the Imo state governor on information and communications technology Ik Ogbonna denied what he called “tale full of thrash.”
The statement reads in part: “The story which is written in poor English purported that Gov Rochas Okorocha, the Chairman of Progressive Governors Forum gave an interview where he accused Tinubu of being behind the death of Kogi state APC candidate, late Prince Abubakar Audu.
“Firstly Gov Rochas Okorocha spent the better part of yesterday, Sunday 22nd November, 2015 till about 7 pm chairing a stakeholders forum of South-East Leaders and returned to Owerri same night, it is bewildering where and when he gave the interview which thrended same night on social media?
“Secondly, Prince Abubakar Audu is not yet a member of APC Governors Forum and Okorocha could not have granted the interview on that score.
“The family of Prince Abubakar Audu has not blamed anyone for the death of their son neither is Gov Okorocha a member of the Audu family.
“The story was written as an interview Governor Okorocha granted yet no medium was mentioned. Can one grant interview to thin air?
“The purported interview is a wicked machination of people who are envious of the towering profile of Gov Rochas Okorocha and aim at bringing him at loggerheads with leaders of the Party especially Sen Bola Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State and a man Gov Okorocha holds in very high esteem.
“It is also remarkable that the story has no source but emanated from the Facebook wall of a PDP apologist who must have been paid by her handlers to cause disaffection within APC family.”

Officers are also searching 20 properties in Barcelona, Terrassa, Sabadell and several other Catalan towns and cities. According to El Pais, this is not the first time that the Catalan police have acted against the Supreme Eiye Confraternity. In November 2011, several members were arrested on similar charges.

Good Guy Juan Mata almost offended by being asked trick Jose Mourinho question

A lot of football interviews follow generic and formulaic patterns.
For example: A reporter wants a positive quote from a player regarding his manager, so he asks:
‘Would you say Manager X is one of the best managers you’ve ever worked with?’
The player has only worked with a handful of managers, so he’s not going out on a limb by saying ‘Yes’, which is what the answer is 99 times out of 100.
This Goal reporter took the very opposite route when interviewing Juan Mata on Spain duty today.
The reporter asked Mata – notoriously benevolent and Good Guy Juan Mata – if he was experiencing any schadenfreude over Mourinho’s current struggles, considering that the Portuguese has forced Mata out of the club by dropping him.
How is your relationship with Mourinho? Are you one of those people who is happy that Mourinho is losing games?’
Good guy Mata looked almost offended, and had to a double take and ask for the question to be repeated, before emphatically replying:
‘No no, I’m not that sort of guy.’
We knew you weren’t Juan.
But did the reporter seriously think he’d get a ‘Yes’ out of Mata here?!

Arsenal boss Wenger explains reluctance to spend big in transfer market

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has explained why he is reluctant to spend big in the transfer market.
He has often been accused by his club's frustrated fans of treating Arsenal's money as if it is his own.
The Frenchman said: “I'll give myself merit for one thing: I've always treated Arsenal as if it belonged to me.
“I have sometimes been criticised for it — because I am not enough of a spender, not carefree enough.
“I credit myself for having had the courage to apply my ideas and fight for them. Aside from that, I can understand why people might not agree.
“My great pride will be to be able to say the day that I leave, that I am leaving behind a good team, a healthy situation and a club capable of performing in the future.
“I could have said to myself: 'I am here for four or five years, we win everything', [then] I leave and leave the club on the verge of bankruptcy. For me, consistency at the highest level is the true sign of great clubs."
